NVOX Clinician Hub Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains how the NVOX Clinician Hub accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data. It applies to licensed clinicians who use the Clinician Hub.

Google Calendar

Clinicians can choose to connect a Google Calendar. If you connect one, NVOX asks Google for permission to:

See when you are free or busy, so that NVOX does not offer clients times when you are unavailable. NVOX receives only free and busy times. It does not receive event titles, descriptions, attendees or locations.

See the list of calendars in your account, only to find an "NVOX Sessions" calendar that NVOX created before.

Create one secondary calendar named "NVOX Sessions", and add, change and delete events on it for your NVOX sessions. Each event contains only the title "NVOX session", the session time and a link to sign in to NVOX. It contains no client names or other client information. NVOX cannot see or change your other calendars or their events.

What NVOX stores

An encrypted Google refresh token, the ID of the NVOX Sessions calendar and the IDs of the events NVOX created. NVOX uses free and busy times to calculate your availability and does not store them.

How NVOX uses and shares Google user data

NVOX uses Google user data only to provide these scheduling features. NVOX does not sell Google user data, does not use it for advertising and does not transfer it to others, except to service providers that host NVOX systems, or when the law requires it. NVOX does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. NVOX personnel do not read your Google Calendar data, unless you permit it, it is necessary for security, or the law requires it.

NVOX's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings in the Clinician Hub. When you disconnect, NVOX deletes the NVOX Sessions calendar, revokes its access at Google, and deletes the stored token and event IDs. You can also remove NVOX's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
