Why NVOX?
Validated ADHD Diagnosis, Just a Step Away
NVOX delivers a validated ADHD diagnosis and recognized documentation. Based on the diagnosis and its severity, this report can help secure eligibility for 504 plans, IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), accommodations at school, work, or for standardized exams. It can also support treatment planning with professionals, including discussions with a physician about potential medication options. For qualifying cases, we provide optional support with completing 504 and IEP paperwork.
How it Works ?
Step 1: Getting Started
Kick off your journey with a simple registration. You’ll fill out a detailed questionnaire to share insights about the test taker’s needs – whether it’s for your child (ages 8 and up) or for yourself. If it’s for your child, you’ll also provide the email of a teacher who knows them well. Adults can list someone close who knows them well. Once that’s done, we’ll guide you through a quick and easy calibration of your camera, speakers, and microphone to ensure everything works perfectly.
Step 2: Taking the Test
Once registered, the test taker will complete two engaging assessments: one involves reading a short passage aloud, and the other measures attention, reaction speed, and more – all guided by a friendly, AI-powered avatar. The interactive experience feels like a game, making it fun and stress-free. This digital assistant listens to answers, observes behaviors, and analyzes body language – just like a human would, but with far greater precision. For children under 10, a parent or guardian should stay nearby for support. Need a break between tests? No problem – the process can be paused anytime and resumed exactly where it left off.
Step 3: Expert Guidance
After the assessment is complete and insights are gathered from the teacher or designated contact, you’ll have a 20-minute feedback session with one of our expert psychologists. During this session, the psychologist, who personally signs your validated report, will walk you through the findings. If a diagnosis is confirmed, they will discuss potential accommodations to help ensure success at school, work, or beyond.
Step 4: The Diagnostic Report
Your comprehensive report is almost ready! After your discussion with the psychologist, you’ll receive an official, signed document via email and in your personal area. This detailed 30-40 page report includes in-depth findings, DSM-based diagnoses, behavioral observations, and clear recommendations and interventions. This document is your golden ticket to seeking IEPs, 504 plans, or work accommodations. Designed to support school psychologists, physicians, and other professionals, it provides the tools needed for treatment planning.
Step 5: From Report to Reality
After receiving your evaluation report, contact the disability services, special education department, or human resources at your school, university, or workplace to submit it. Our system will guide you through the process of filling out and submitting the necessary forms for a 504 Plan or IEP. If diagnosed with a learning disability, you might be eligible for accommodations such as Extended Time, Alternative Formats, Technology Aids, Note-Taking Assistance, Preferential Seating, and workplace adjustments.
