Revolutionizing Assessment Technology.
The NVOX platform represents a groundbreaking advancement in the field of assessment technology. Leveraging the expertise of PhD-level scientists from a wide array of academic disciplines, including neuropsychology, psychiatry, neurology, education, neuroscience, behavioral sciences, and child development, as well as the specialized skills of data scientists and AI experts, NVOX has created a multidisciplinary approach to advance its technological solutions. The primary objective of this interdisciplinary collaboration was to develop a diagnostic tool that is not only efficient and user-friendly but also eliminates geographical and socioeconomic barriers, thereby offering at-home accessibility. Paramount to this endeavor was ensuring that the diagnostic accuracy and reliability of the system are on par, if not superior, to traditional in-clinic assessments conducted by learning disability professionals.
AI Engine Behind NVOX.
At the core of NVOX’s innovation is a sophisticated AI-driven assessment engine, complemented by a digital human interface. This engine has been meticulously trained on an extensive corpus of academic literature encompassing psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, education, behavioral sciences, and educational theory. A critical component of its training involved the analysis of thousands of hours of video recordings, encompassing a wide spectrum of assessment sessions across various age groups and genders, as well as the examination of a vast database of diagnostic reports from the past decade.

A Seamless and Holistic Assessment Process.
NVOX’s assessment procedure is meticulously designed to emulate and potentially surpass the capabilities of a human diagnostician. It commences with a comprehensive questionnaire, further augmented by inputs from educators or other individuals closely associated with the examinee. The AI system dynamically generates and assigns tasks to each examinee, tailored not only to their age but also based on a sophisticated algorithm that considers a multitude of complex parameters. Particularly following research that revealed negligible differences between remote online administration and traditional in-person administration of learning disability tests, a conclusion was drawn that online methods offer a viable nationwide alternative.
Should the system unequivocally identify a specific disability, it efficiently moves on to subsequent tasks, thereby avoiding redundancy and minimizing any potential stress or frustration for the examinee. Moreover, the system employs advanced algorithms to analyze subtle facial micro-expressions and mental states, as well as monitoring physical gestures, such as hand and head movements. This holistic approach enables the AI to discern a broad spectrum of diagnostic parameters that a human diagnostician might not be able to detect.
In the final stage, NVOX’s system synthesizes all gathered data to formulate a comprehensive summary report. This report, interpreted and contextualized by our team of expert psychologists, is then communicated to either the parents of the examinee or the examinees themselves. It includes detailed explanations of the diagnostic findings, their implications, and, in cases where a disability is identified, recommendations for potential accommodations.
